Should SMS Marketing, Be Your Medium For Business Prosperity?

While the idea of starting an MLM business strikes you, the first question that arises is, how to build up a network marketing business? Once you have spread a word amongst your closest group, you want to spread your wings across and for that you need good marketing strategy. You get hold of various social media platforms, newspaper ads, online marketing, etc. to promote your MLM business. Amidst this, many business tycoons forget a very old yet effective marketing strategy and that is none other than an SMS or in a more technical language – SMS marketing. SMS marketing is one of the best mediums to have a two way conversation using a mobile phone because it is owned by each and every person.

The best is when you send an SMS, a receiver definitely scans it at least once. This helps in establishing communication. Additionally, you don’t have to spend a lot of time in composing an SMS. In email, you have to write, design and follow a template, but in SMS it’s otherwise. You have a word limit in SMS, so it has a very ‘on-the-spot’ approach and thus not boring your prospect. They also act as a reminder because every person carries a mobile and when you drop a message to him, he cannot avoid it thus remembering the event.

Not only this, but SMS is extremely cost effective because you don’t need to design them, nor you have to choose a template, as it's done in a jiffy. Unlike in an email, you have to sit down, think and have to write everything in a descriptive form. SMS can be done on-the-go! For SMS marketing, you can just buy a cost friendly SMS pack and can shoot SMS to people. If not that, you can also tie up with your service providers who can suggest some really easy on the pocket packages.

Apart from all this, as I have mentioned above that your emails can be left unread, but not your SMS, thus increasing conversion rates. They are short and precise and so your prospects immediately get an idea what it is all about! Plus, its affordability plays a vital role in the ladder of success. You can mention your website link which can be easily opened. Not only this, but you never know you might also get a reply from the receiver too, which is a definitely a good sign of communication. Above all, SMS is a green form of advertising, wherein no paper is wasted!

SMS is still an underrated and unexplored medium because people misuse it. However, I am sure in near future it is definitely going to gain abundant momentum!

How Should Your Business Card Be?

Business cards play a vital role while publicizing your business, especially when you are in MLM business. Several MLM Softwarecompanies do have their own pre-designed business cards. However, if they do not have one, then you are caught in a limbo as to how your card should be designed. Below are some tips that you should follow while designing your card:

Short and sweet content: keep the content short and do not jam it up with too many details. Too crammed up card is a major thumbs down. So keep it short and easy to read!

Choose the best paper: try not to compromise on the quality of paper. Handmade papers are a new trend in the market, try and use them because they give an altogether different look than the traditional business cards.

Add your photograph: try and add your photograph on the business card because your clients will remember your face more than the card. Try and add your recent picture and not an ancient one because it helps in recognizing you immediately during the next meet.

Add your contact details: try and add all the contact details, right from the landline number to your mobile number. Include your email address, website if you have any because these factors help in bridging the communication gap.

Use soothing colour and font size: do not go for flashy colours, they are major disenchanting and unprofessional. Along with colour, go for standard font size, which should not be too big or too small. The aim is that the content should be readable.

Include logo, if you have any: try and include the logo of your company as it is the face of your company. A logo speaks a thousand words and you should be bragging it with finesse.

Use both sides of the card: many people include details on one side, but I would suggest try and occupy the flip side too. Try and include your vision of the product, so your clients get a better perspective.

Try and carry as much as cards you can, so that you can build a strong network. People still have an impression that business card is just a piece of paper which finds its way to the trash. However, they forget it helps in making a better and stronger network for businesses to flourish!

Amway

Amway and Nutrilite are household names globally because the company formed in the name of ‘the American Way’ (Amway) found its initial success primarily by the sales of Nutrilite products. Other brands that made Amway a business leader in the MLM vertical are Artistry, spring Water Filters, etc. The profitability of Amway as we see today can be credited to its founders Van Andel and Devos for the adoption of the pyramid styled income distribution structure.
